Blooming Onion Fries

Are you looking for a yummy and high skilled side dish ? Have you ever tried Onion rings? How about Blooming Onion Fries? Not only tastes good, it also looks amazing.

All you need is:

  • A very big Onion
  • 1 tbs of each: Salt, Pepper, Paprika
  • Β Soy / Oat or Almond milk
  • 1/2 cup Flour of your choice
  • Crispy bread (crash to very small piece, best flat breads or ready made options)

Recipe:

Cut the onion in lotus form such way that end of onion doesn’t get cut but like a flower is sliced from top until very near the bottom.

Next, you need to mix the spices with your plant based milk and add about 1 and half spoon flour plus double size of crispy bread. Make sure to add the crispy bread at the very ending part, right before adding the mixture on the onion. otherwise the bread pieces go too wet and the final result won’t look as good as it could.

Preheat the oven while you cut the onion or before, set on Air Fry Mode on 185 c and let the onions get crispy and golden.

Enjoy with favourite sauce. I love spicy and Vegan mayo but open to new sauces too.

This simple recipe has a impressive result that even makes you dinner table look wonderful.
